Our latest post : Highest Land in Bali, Mt. Agung!

Golden Sunrise, Mt. Batur!

Mount Batur with the height of 1,717 masl, can be reached by about 1.5 to 2 hours trekking. This mount is famous among beginners or the hikers who want to leisurely hike. However it doesn’t mean that the way is so easy, it is quite hard tho. The path is rocky and a bit slippery of the sands, we still have to be careful and sprightful as we started climbing when the sky still dark and quiet.

How to enjoy Ubud… (Part 1)

Ubud village in the uplands of Bali, is famous of the traditional art and culture. The rainforest, rice terraces, Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes, known also as the best place for relaxing your soul. If you want to get away from the hectic and busy life, Ubud could be the best choice as it is quiet and remote. There is no club as in Kuta and the nightlife is just as quiet as in the jungle, with jangkrik sound krik krik krikk :p

Ubud with it’s well known art, culture, and genuine Balinese lifestyle will always be a delightful place to visit. This first article will talk more about Ubud trekking and culinary, and there will be more about museums, art shops, and traditional dance in the next post. Let’s get started from the scratch!

Warung Cahaya (Crispy Pork)

Whoever loves pork must be in love with this small shiny warung at Dewi Ratih street. As it’s name, this food stall is really bright (cahaya) with so many windows and mostly white colored interior. Located in the middle of the city crow but only a few people knows this place. So cute and cozy for a small food stall and so affordable for the tasty and juicy crispy pork, really worth it.
