Whoever loves pork must be in love with this small shiny warung at Dewi Ratih street. As it’s name, this food stall is really bright (cahaya) with so many windows and mostly white colored interior. Located in the middle of the city crow but only a few people knows this place. So cute and cozy for a small food stall and so affordable for the tasty and juicy crispy pork, really worth it.
It is quite spacious and it must be, because the customer will come over and over again each time. It’s open daily at 8 AM until 7 PM, but if you come during day time around 10 until evening, it is usually the most crowded. Don’t be late because usually around 3 in the afternoon, the pork is gonna near finish! It must be really sad if you come here and don’t get any pork available. The crispy pork is really special here.
There are also many variant of menus in this food stall. If you don’t eat pork, there are also chicken, vegetables, and other Indonesian cuisine. Still we would like to review the most favorite menu in this food stall, it is definitely a plate of Crispy Pork and Raw Chili served with Rice. The raw chili or so called ‘sambal matah’ of this food stall is quite famous tho. It’s Balinese traditional recipe of spices with fried chopped pork. Everybody will love this combo combination a lot.
We definitely will come again and try the other menus. Many visitors say the chicken is good as well. But ramblers love pork better. It’s a hard choice anyway.
